Volvo Goes To Geely For $1.8 Bn

China’s largest private run car maker, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group has today agreed to buy Ford motor company’s Volvo car division for $1.8 bn, country’s biggest overseas auto purchase. The sale will be closed by the third quarter of this year, pending regulatory approvals.
