As we told you earlier, Fiat have launched two new variants of the 1.2 FIRE Grande Punto hatchback in the country.

Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Emotion

The two new 1.2 FIRE variants offer additional features of the upper end variants at very competitive prices when compared to the competition.  The Grande Punto 1.2 FIRE Active variant comes standard with Tilt Steering, Front Power Windows, Fire prevention system and programmed service reminder as standard. Apart from this the Dynamic version adds rear power windows, central locking as standard. As a special intorductory offer Fiat is also providing a CD/MP3 player for no extra cost for a limited period of one month for the 1.2 Dynamic variant.

The 1.2 Emotion variant on the other hand features a dash integrated audio system with four speakers, electric mirrors, fog lamps, dual tone interiors and split seats as standard.

The Grande Punto 1.2 FIRE engine is BS IV compliant and also boasts improved efficiency of 15.2 kmpl.

The 1.2 FIRE Dynamic variant has been priced @ INR 4.57 Lakhs while the 1.2 Emotion variant comes for INR 4.87 Lakhs, all prices Ex-Showroom Delhi.

The official launch is on 15th March

Competiton is always known to do wonders in a consumer economy and while we arent yet a consumer economy in the trusest sense of the word, we are slowly but surely getting there.

In response to Ford’s ultra competitive pricing for its latest hatchback Figo, Fiat has launched two new variants of the 1.2 Litre Petrol Punto in Dynamic and Emotion guise. The 1.2 Litre Petrol Punto was previously available only in the base Active variant.

In the process Fiat has also discontinued the 1.4 Litre petrol Dynamic variant, which now would be available only in Emotion and Emotion Pack.
