Toyota’s chief test driver, 67 year old Hiromu Naruse, who has been credit with being the ”Godfather of the LF-A” supercar, has died in a crash on highway 410 near the Nurburgring race track in Germany.

Toyota had announced a voluntary recall on Monday for the 2010 Lexus GX460 after influential magazine Consumer Report reported a rollover risk and pushed the SUV in the “do not buy” list, a first for a Toyota branded vehicle.
