Yamaha SS125 125CC Bike Launched

After successful launches in the form of FZ 16 and the YZF R15, Yamaha India is now looking to consolidate its position in the lower end volumes segment of the Indian bike market. In a bid to strengthen its position in this high volume segment, the company has launched its new 125cc bike christened the SS125.

The bike comes with a 125 cc four stroke engine with 11 ps of maximum power, which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox for ideal spread of power and torque helping both performance and fuel economy. In a nut shell, imagine the erstwhile Gladiator in newer fancier clothes and you get the picture right.

Other features of the SS 125 include an aerodynamic racy under cowl, tachometer, lowered front cowl, light weight aluminium alloy wheels and disc brake at the front, which are pretty much standard for the segment now a days.

So what separates it from other bikes in the segment you say? Well its the class leading build quality and precision Yamaha engineering which unmatched in this segment and above.  These virtues apart from world class styling has made Yamaha India what it is today and we hope that SS 125 will carry the momentum forward.
