Thanks to the patent office and carscoop we now know that Volkswagen has filed patents for a New Compact Coupe (or the NCC concept from Detroit Motor show if you remember) based on the Jetta platform.
The car actually looks nice in profile with aggressive front snout and sleek rear end treatment. Jetta base also means that it will be bigger than the Scirocco which also means that its going to be more practical and more usable.
