Are you the one who likes the idea of a big engined hatchback rather than a small engined big saloon? Are you one of those people who liked the Polo but found the 1.2 liter three cylinder engine to be a little underpowered? Worry not.
Volkswagen will launch the Polo 1.6 later in the year but if you want to be the first one to pick the car up, you can book it right away! VW has started taking bookings for the only large engined petrol hot hatch we will have in times to come.
To be launched only in the top of the line highline trim, the Polo 1.6 will come with 105 ps of maximum power @ 5250 rpm and a maximum 153 nm of torque at a relatively low 3750 rpm. The engine is a full three seconds faster to hundred than the plain vanilla Polo and will hit a top whack of 184 kmph!
