Remember the breathtaking Audi A7 Sportback from the Auto Expo New Delhi 2010? Audi will unveil its newest saloon at the Moscow Motor Show next month and has launched a teaser website to build up excitement before the event.
To arrive as a 2011 model, the Audi A7 may or may not carry the sportback tag and will be built at Audi’s Neckarsulm plant.
The new A7 will come with a wide variety of powertrains which will include hybrid models and uber powerful V10 600 hp versions for the performance oriented S7 and RS7 versions.
Audi will offer 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard on the low end variants while the higher end high performance models will come with dual-clutch 7-Speed automatic transmission. Audi’s Quattro four wheel drive system will be standard and so will be the new torque-vectoring system.
The car will go on sale either later this year or early next year. Audi expect the A7 worldwide sales to touch 45,000 units.
