Ford has struck a perfect cord with the Indian car buyer with its new Figo which has managed to sell 16000 units in just 14 weeks of its launch. The sales numbers also mean that Figo is one of the most successful new car launches in the recent times in the Indian market.
Ford is ramping up production at its Chennai plant to meet increased demand and is planning to add another shift next month onwards. The company has already delivered 16000 units and yet has more than 21000 bookings in hand.
