Fiat has released the official images and details of the Abarth Punto Evo and Abarth 500C to co-incide with their launch.
The pint sized Abarth 500C comes powered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol engine (T-Jet in Fiat’s speak) with 140 bhp of maximum power and 206 nm of maximum torque. The car does 0-100 kph sprint in a decent 8.1 seconds and has a combined fuel efficiency rating of 6.5L/100 kms.
The Abarth Punto Evo comes with a more potent turbocharged 1.4 liter Multiair engine with an impressive 165 bhp of maximum power and a diesel busting 250 nm of maximum torque. The hot hatch from Fiat does a 0-100 kph sprint in just 7.9 seconds.
Both the car made their international public debut at the Geneva Motor show. A brand new advertising campaign “More power to your senses” will also be rolled out in the coming months with particular attention to digital media and is further reinforced by a distinctive red graphic marketing that simultaneously divides and unites the two cars.
