The facelift would reach Indian shore soon
Honda has unveiled facelifted Accord for the U.S. market which comes with aerodynamic and styling tweaks, improved fuel economy and new features. We are sold the same car in India which means that changes will come to the Indian market pretty shortly.
Exteriors changes include a new grille which is modeled on the latest family look, revised front and rear bumpers, reprofiled tail lamps and new alloy wheels. Changes to the interiors include repositioning of the automatic climate control buttons for easier operation by the driver, new seat fabric and redesigned instrument console.
Honda says that improvements to vehicle aerodynamics, engine friction and transmission gear ratios will help increase the fuel economy. The new Accord will go on sale from mid-August onwards.
