India’s second largest two-wheeler maker, Bajaj Auto has reported a massive 84 percent jump in bike sales for April 2010.
The company sold a total of 2,76,095 bikes in April 2010 compared to 1,49,733 units in the same month last year. Total two wheeler sales stand at 2,76,122 units in April 2010 compared to 1,50,252 in the same month a year earlier.
Three wheelers sales have also risen to 37,350 units for the month of April 2010, a rise of 98% when compared to 18,867 units in the same month a year earlier.
Cumulative sales stand at 3,13,472 units compared to 1,69,119 units in the same period a year ago, a growth of 85 percent according to the press release. Exports have also gone up to 1,13,911 units from 51,887.
