Our good friends at motoroids have managed to click the the spy images of the upcoming Polo sedan testing on the Indian soil with minimal camouflage!
The car was badged a blue oval to fool the ‘curious on lookers’ to which I must that they have seriously underrated the journalist scribes. The the bunch of test mules were lead by a Polo and tailed by Skoda Fabia.
Coming back to the topic, the Polo sedan will be manufactured at Volkswagen’s Chakan plant near Pune and will come with uprated engines, one of which is confirmed to be the 1.6 litre petrol which will also be launched in the Polo hatchback shortly. We also expected a new diesel engine since the current 1.2 litre 3 cylinder will be a tad too small and underpowered for the car.

The Polo Sedan will compete with the likes of Tata Indigo Manza, Honda City, Fiat Linea and upcoming Toyota Etios Sedan and will come in as early as second quarter of this year. Stay tuned for more updates and join our facebook page by clicking here!
