Skoda has launched the manual transmission version of its flagship sedan Superb 1.8 TSi in the Indian market. The Superb was only available with the 7-Speed DSG automatic transmission until now.
The Superb manual comes with a 6-speed manual transmission with ‘Intelligent Gear Change Indicator’ to aid driveability and improve fuel consumption. The 1.8 litre direct injected four cylinder turbocharged remains unchanged with 160 bhp of maximum power and 25.5 kgm of torque available from almost idle 1500 rpm but will be even more fun with the manual transmission.
The new Superb 1.8 MT has been priced at Rs 18.29 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) which is a saving of more than Rs 1.5 lakhs over the automatic transmission DSG variant. Now you can have your cake and eat it too.
