Mercedes Benz have launched the all new E-Class Coupe in the Indian market today. The new Coupe joins the already diverse portfolio of cars that Mercedes sells in India.
Aggressive, Sporty and Exclusive is how the company describes its new E-Class Coupe but we would like to add another adjective here, Classy! The styling is poetry of a very high order, flowing effortlessly from the front to rear. The distinct sleek lines, the smooth flowing curvy roofline typical of a Coupe, the pillar less doors and the subtle rear wheels arches combine together to create a car that is almost magical to look at. The hallmark of Mercedes Coupé design is its sports radiator grille with the large central star which when coupled with the arrow shaped front section and lean build, gives the car a sportier and more dynamic presence. The harmony of all the styling elements coming together creates an aura of irresistible charm that is hard to miss and not falling for it is even harder.
Beautiful it surely is but not without brains. The slippery shape has a co-efficient of drag of just .24cd making it the world’s most aerodynamically efficienct series production car. Its loaded with state-of-the-art technology too with ATTENTION ASSIST, Selective Damper Control, Preventive Occupant Protection, Adaptive Main Beam Assist, PRE-SAFE® technology and Intelligent Lighting System making it your perfect “thinking” partner.
Other features of the E Class Coupe include Keyless Go, Large Panoramic Sunroof and Attention Assist which monitors the driver’s behaviour and lets him know when to stop and take a cup of coffee!
The E-Class Coupe comes powered by the potent 3.5 Litre Direct Injected V6 engine with 272 bhp of maximum power and 350 nm of torque between 2400-5000 rpm.
Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe has been priced at Rs 54.83 Lakhs Ex-Showroom, Mumbai.
