Ford Fiesta Displaces VW Golf As No. 1 In Europe

The inevitable has happened. Ford Fiesta has displaced the Volkswagen Golf as the best selling car in Europe according to the latest figures from Jato Dynamics.

Ford sold 68,630 Fiesta’s in the month of March, a comfortable 11,785 units more than the second place Golf. Cummulative sales for the year 2010 are also in blue oval’s favor with total sales of 140, 496 Fiesta’s compared to 135,048 units of Golf.

Renault Clio, Vauxhall Corsa and the Peugeot 207 make up the list of rest of the top five sellers.
