Yamaha Motors India posted strong numbers for the month of February with sales up by 48%. Company’s three popular models YZF-R15, Fazer, FZ-S and FZ-16 have catapulted the domestic sales figures by 18% to 16,313 units in Feb 2010 compared to 13,848 units last year.
Company’s export numbers have been equally impressive with 9,453 units sold in Feb 2010 compared to 3,559 last year.
Yamaha India CEO and MD Yukimine Tsuji said ”Our domestic sales continue to be strong for our premium segment products like YZF-R15, Fazer, FZ-S and FZ-16. These models have also received overwhelming response in overseas markets like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Columbia resulting in increased export sales,”
Yamaha always had good products and with such encouraging numbers company certainly looks on growth path. Good going !!
