Toyota sales shoot up 101% in February 2010

Although global recalls have dented the consumer confidence and sales of Toyotas worldwide, the company is doing rather well for themselves here.

The company has announced a whopping 101% increase in sales for the month of Febaruary 2010. The total sales for the month of February 2010 stand at 5993 units compared to 2976 units a year earlier.

Toyota sold 4142 Innova’s, 863 Corolla’s and an impressive 972 units of the Fortuner SUV.

Total sales foe Jan-Feb period stand at 11,982 units, a 109% increase compared to the same period last year.
