Tata Motors Launch Indica Vista AURA ABS & AURA+ Variants

It was only a matter of time before Tata Motors offered ABS and Airbags in the hot selling Indica Vista and after dragging their feet on it for sometime, they finally have.

The company has launched two new high end variants of the Indica Vista called the Aura ABS and Aura+. The Indica Vista Aura ABS, as the name suggests, comes with all the features of the normal Aura variant plus the ABS which prevents skidding of wheels and loss of steering wheel control under panic braking. The other variant, Aura+ comes with ABS, Dual Front Air Bags, Keyless Entry, Dual Din Music system with USB input and Blue5 which lets you connect upto 5 mobile phones to the car using the bluetooth connectivity and answer or reject calls without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

The other Indica Vista virtues remains like the super spacious interiors, dual tone interiors and the pliant ride. With the impending competition from Ford’s Figo which we think will be priced very competitively, this is a good move from Tata Motors and the pricing reamins a Tata tardemark which to sum up in one word is “very attractive”.

The new variants will be available with both the 1.2 Saffire Petrol and the 1.3 Quadrajet diesel engines and have been priced as follows
