The striking front with boomerang headlamps and toothed grille
With more than a passing resemblance to the mighty GT-R, Nissan has finally launched the 370Z in the Indian market. The car has been launched in two variants – manual priced at Rs 53.5 Lakhs and automatic priced at Rs 54.5 Lakhs, both prices ex-showroom, Delhi.

The latest generation of the 370Z is based on Nissan’s “front midships” (FM) platform which is also shared with the Infiniti FX and G37 family and comes powered by a 3.7 litre V6 petrol engine with a maximum power of 332 bhp and a maximum 37.3 kgm of torque. The engine comes equipped with Nissan’s VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) technology which delivers power smoothly at both low and high revs and also keeps the efficiency high.

The stunning rear with "melting on the rear wheels" look
Nissan has used a cocktail of aluminium and steel to keep the rigidity high and at the same time keep the weight in check. It looks good too with its combination of short wheelbase and wide low slung stance. The sporting intension are made amply clear by the front toothed grille, boomerang style headlamps and highly flared rear fenders which gives the rear melting-on-the-wheels stunning look. The insides feature a state of the art 8 Speaker BOSE sound system which keeps company with any adventure driving this car is capable of.
The manual variant comes with a six speed transmission which also features what Nissan calls ‘Synchrorev’ technology, which automatically blips the throttle to match the revs for a smooth shift while you downshift. The automatic variants comes with a seven speed automatic transmission with paddle shift to let you play Schumacher.
